NCC 10th Anniversary Quilt Winner Drawn at First 2003 NCC 10-Plus Party
NEW 2003 NCC Lapel Pin Introduced at MAVG

The first 2003 10-Plus Party was held on Saturday, March 15, at the Mid-Atlantic Village Gathering in Reston, VA with more than 250 attendees.

A highlight of the party was the drawing for the NCC 10th Anniversary Quilt. Sylvia January, of the Villages Flakes of Nashville, TN was the lucky winner. All proceeds from this drawing are being sent to Habitat for Humanity. The NCC thanks all who supported this effort thru the purchase of tickets and also Judy Weers of Texas who designed, made and donated this special quilt.

Another party highlight was the special lapel pin created for the 2003 NCC 10-Plus parties and given to each participant. The pin, which comes in 3 versions( silver, gold and copper ), will be available for attendees at all of the 2003 NCC 10-Plus parties. Collect all three versions by attending 3 of the NCC 10-Plus parties this year!

Attendees enjoyed refreshments, cake and an array of games for which they earned points for tickets which could be used for prize drawings.

Don't miss the next 2003 NCC 10-Plus Party. It will be held on Friday evening of the Southern Regional Gathering this August.

The NEW 2003 NCC lapel pin, depicting the accessory to the Jack's Umbrella Shop, "Is It Raining" was introduced at the MAVG and was available on Fiday and Saturday for $5 each at the NCC Information Table. Order forms for this new pin will be sent to all NCC Member Clubs and Associate Members in the near future.
