On July 8, 2002 we were priveleged to meet and chat with our most gracious and delightful NCC President and Vice-Pres. respectively, Peggy and Jan. They had just completed the NCC 10th Anniversay Cruise and had done some sightseeing in south western British Columbia, Canada. They had been away from their respective homes for over two and one half weeks, but did agree to join twenty-three of our Club members for a most enjoyable evening. They made all of us very envious that we had missed the Cruise and related highlights of their trip and told us that the NCC is alive and well. To state that Peggy and Jan are great ambassadors of the NCC would be an understatement! Peggy thought that her "accent" was the only thing that held our interest, but that was only icing on the cake. Jan's ever bubbly personality and overall knowledge captivated our entire Club membership. For what we felt would be a short 'meet and greet' went on and on and on, much to the enjoyment of all present.

Sincerely,
Ken Hokazono, President, West Coast 56ers and
Gloria Hokazono, Recording Secretary, West Coast 56ers.
