NCC Nominating Committee
THE INCREDIBLE VALUE OF LEADERSHIP
One quality that cannot be over emphasized in this campaign is the value
of leadership. The NCC Vice President position requires good leadership
skills. Mike Goode has held many club positions, made displays, and made
club and seminar presentations that indicates Mike is a good leader.
Mike also has administrative leadership skills required to be an
excellent Vice President.
Mike spent eight years as Director of Human Resources. His HR experience
provided him the opportunities to use his skills and knowledge,
including the planning and development of materials for the teacher
recruitment program as well as promotional materials for the school
district which were distributed nationwide. Mike has the ability to
motivate and mobilize individuals and large groups, present creative
ideas and problem solutions, and develop bold new programs and detail
futuristic plans.
Mike has organized many activities for the clubs in our area including
the Welcome Home of Our Troops at DFW. He is also a volunteer in the
Ambassador Program at DFW that provides information and assistance to
airport travelers. Mike is one of the threads that help bring the
Cowtown Villagers, Nifty 56ers, Spirit of 56 and Big D 56ers clubs in
the Dallas, Fort Worth and Mid-Cities areas together.
Mike has been a leader through his professional career. His many awards
and promotions are a testimony to a successful career. We have the
opportunity to elect a NCC Vice President that has demonstrated the
leadership skills required to continue the great success of the NCC,
Mike Goode.
