Kirk Wyllie

To: NCC Nominating Committee

RE: My endorsement for Kirk Wyllie as Vice President of NCC.

Kirk has been an active member of our club and served as Vice President and President of the Windy City 56'ers. One of his duties during his tenure was being responsible for arranging the club’s programs. He brought many programs to the club to help the members with their displays, and lighting techniques. He organized and participated in display contests, and was very enthusiastic about getting other club members involved to bring in their displays. Kirk is always willing to step up and help where needed to get something accomplished. Kirk has great organizational skills, is good at problem solving, and works well with all types of people.

Kirk was also very involved in both Chicago 2004 and 2006 Gatherings. If you attended either of these gatherings I am sure that you saw him everywhere - from being on stage introducing the events, being a presenter for a seminar, helping with bingo, and getting everyone involved and excited about the gathering. Not only was Kirk involved in the running of the Gatherings, but he was involved in all the aspects of the planning for both events. After the chair of the 2004 Gathering stepped down, Kirk stepped up to help me with the planning and organizing of the event to make it a very successful gathering.

Kirk also is very knowledgable and passionate about all things D56. He can talk about all the village pieces, new and old even the villages that he personally does not collect. He is always willing to talk to anyone about his or their village.

I feel that Kirk would make a great Vice President and asset to the executive board of the NCC.
