Kirk Wyllie – Candidate for NCC Vice

Collector
Has collected since the 1990s. His displays include Dickens’ Village,
Little Town of Bethlehem (in memory of his brother), seasonal displays
for Easter and Valentine’s Day, and displays with a Chicago theme.
NCC/Department 56 Involvement
• Member – Windy City 56ers, Ducky 56ers and Wacky Willagers
• Has served as president and vice president of the Windy City 56ers
• Currently represents the Ducky 56ers to their sponsor, European
Imports
• Shares his techniques through display classes, presentations and
seminars at gatherings in Chicago and California.
• Has worked for local clubs including the Ducky 56ers, the Windy City
56ers and the Wacky Willagers.
• Has conducted display classes at local stores including Just Ducky,
European Imports, and Suzie’s Hallmark.
• Has served as emcee at both of the Chicago Gatherings as well as the
2002 gathering – Little Houses on the Prairie. He was extremely
effective in mobilizing participants to get excited and involved.
• Served at the forefront of the 2004 Chicago gathering.
• Served as co-chair of the 2006 Chicago gathering.
• Sells 50/50 raffle tickets at gatherings with his mother.
Awards
Kirk has won prizes for his displays at gatherings in Green Bay, Chicago
and Minnesota.
Personal
Architect. As a project manager in the construction field, he is called
on to problem solve and has become proficient in melding facts and
opinions to produce the best outcome.
