ATTN: Nominating Committee Chair of the NCC
August 19, 2009
Subject: Vice President Nomination
I was the past president of the Windy City 56’ers for five years and am
currently serving as Vice President of the Club.
I have known Kirk Wiley for several years as an active member and
officer of our club. He did an excellent job as President and Vice
President, along with assuming a leadership role of displays. In our
2004 and 2006c Gatherings in Rosemont, Illinois, He was an active
participant at all levels, leading, displaying his presentations with
demonstrations, how to set up using various items to add to the scenery
and overall decorations. He works extremely hard to make sure we have
active programs for the club and that things ran smoothly at these
gatherings.
Kirk is well regarded in NCC circles as keeping abreast of new Dept 56
items being offered to the membership and helps with passing on
information regarding lighting and electrical problems that have
developed with certain pieces. Also has been a volunteer at many NCC
tables and gathering events.
Kirk is an open minded person and will do his very best to find out and
resolve any situation that comes to him. He is a dedicated collector and
opens his house for clubs to come and answers all question regarding
setup, design and how to situations.
Kirk is very serious collector of Dept 56, a supporter and advocate for
the NCC. He loves to have fun as well. He can be easy going, loves a
challenge and is able to accomplish his target of ambitions.
I hope that he is taken seriously in this election as he will be a great
asset to the NCC Board.
Allan F. Kulikowski
Former President of Windy City 56’ers
Charter member since 1990.
